Oil Recycling
Do you change your own motor oil? If you do, you know that it comes out of your vehicle a lot dirtier than it went in. The good news is, if you recycle that oil, it is sent through the refining process again and comes out as good as new! The bad news is if you dump the oil down the drain, in the ocean, or on your farm, the contaminants (dirt, water and chemicals) from the engine and the oil itself are harmful to wildlife, agricultural crops, and our drinking water supply. This is especially true in the Monterey Bay Area where we rely completely on local surface and ground water sources for our drinking water.
Keep our water clean! Recycle used oil and filters!
