Transportation Programs

Ecology Action’s Transportation Programs work collaboratively with public and private transportation agencies to assist commuters in finding ways to reduce single occupancy vehicle trips. Our goals are to help:

Reduce traffic congestion
Improve air quality
Increase the safety of our streets for pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists
Promote a healthy lifestyle for all Santa Cruzans

Bike to Work
Provides incentives, free breakfast, and support to get you hooked on bicycling as transportation.

Cabrillo College Go Green
Choose an alternative to driving alone and you can make a difference in reducing traffic congestion and greenhouse gases. For Cabrillo College students, staff and faculty members.

Electric Bike Information
There are several local retailers who sell affordable electric bikes for steep hills and longer distances.

Folding Bikes in Buses
Several local retails sell a variety of folding bikes for easy and secure parking and use.
