In partnership with PG&E, Ecology Action helps casinos identify opportunities to install new energy efficient products and implement recommended efficiency measures, including lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, food service systems, hot water/natural gas, and more.
CasinoGreen serves tribally owned casinos as well as many other non-residential buildings on reservation land. Gas stations, offices, golf courses and country clubs, fitness centers, restaurants and schools are among the many building types that can be included in an energy audit.
The CasinoGreen program was designed to help businesses on tribal land reduce their energy consumption, save money and help protect the environment.
Since 2010, the CasinoGreen program has been delivering comprehensive energy efficiency retrofits to all sizes of Native American-owned casinos and affiliated non-residential facilities throughout all PG&E territory. In the period of 2010-2012 alone, Ecology Action completed more than 56 projects and achieved a savings of more than 10,000,000 kWh.
