San Mateo County Energy Watch

Since 2009, Ecology Action’s San Mateo County Energy Watch (SMEW) program has delivered energy savings to municipal, special district and nonprofit customers of PG&E in San Mateo County by providing energy assessments, direct installation of energy efficient equipment, technical assistance, and financial incentives. San Mateo County Energy Watch is a local government partnership between Cities/County Association of Governments (C/CAG), PG&E and Ecology Action.

Overview

San Mateo County Energy Watch program is part of a program that provides energy efficiency services for commercial PG&E customers in the local governments that make up San Mateo County. The program provides energy efficiency services and incentives to qualifying public agencies, schools, non-profit organizations, farms, residents, and businesses, and also assists local governments with greenhouse gas emission inventories and climate action planning and implementation.
