Resilient Central Coast Community Workshop: Creating Climate Resilience Through Shifting Your Ride

You are invited to join your neighbors to learn about climate solutions together!

This month’s Resilient Central Coast action theme is Shifting Your Ride. Our personal vehicles create 24 pounds of carbon pollution for every gallon of gas. Learn more about the many options to reduce our impact from daily travel. From driving less to public transportation to considering an EV, there are many ways to reduce carbon pollution while saving money!

Speakers will include:

* Jerel Francisco, Transportation Specialist, County of Santa Barbara – EV purchasing, rebates & incentives and charging infrastructure

* Matt Miller, Senior Transportation Specialist, Ecology Action – E-Bike overview including different types and their applications, costs and rebates available

* Emily Gottlieb, Ecology Action – Resilient Central Coast Campaign team leader program and Transportation actions
