Solutions by the Community, for the Community.
The actions we each take may vary, but they all create a ripple effect of change. Resilient communities empower everyone to have a voice and recognize the individuals, households, and organizations that are making everyday choices that lay the groundwork for a climate-safe future.
What Resilience Means to Us
Our goal is to empower individuals and communities to adopt sustainable practices and advocate for policies that protect vulnerable populations, creating a future where everyone can thrive in harmony with the environment. Through education, innovative programs, and strategic planning, we’re working to equip Central Coast residents to tackle climate challenges directly, protecting their health, well-being, and natural resources for generations to come.
Resilient Central Coast
Local plans and policies play a crucial role in preparing for the effects of climate change and reducing carbon emissions at the individual level. Resilient Central Coast is mobilizing 500,000 people to cut carbon emissions in half by 2030 by encouraging individual climate actions.
My hopes for the future of climate action on the Central Coast come from knowing that while this work is tough, it’s also full of possibility. It takes commitment and perseverance, but when we connect the dots between energy, housing, transportation, and resilience, real change can happen.

Climate Justice Collaborative
The Climate Justice Collaborative provides an equity-focused, power-sharing space to foster cross-sector relationships and partnerships to develop equitable climate solutions. Our shared mission is to bridge the gap between those most impacted by climate disasters and those with power to enact change so that our responses can be more comprehensive, inclusive, and successful.
