Salinas Resource Fair @ El Gabilan Elementary School
Ecology Action will be participating during this event at El Gabilan Elementary School, starting at 1:30pm. You will have the opportunity to learn more about our Safe Routes to School Program. We have many opportunities for those looking to get involved and help give back. Our programs teach students best practices when riding a bike, crossing the street safely and much more.

Community Bike & All-Santa Cruz Cleanup Day!
We will kick things off with a community park clean-up at Pinto Lake County Park @ 1pm

- Starting at Pinto Lake County Park & clean up!
Ride along the beautiful Green Valley Corridor, celebrate Mother’s Day, and connect with Mother Nature on our ride. All ages are welcome to join us from 1pm to 4pm as we bike to local parks and participate in the Santa Cruz clen-up day. Stops will include Pinto Lake County Park, Mesa Village Park, and Pinto Lake City Park.
- Free bike lights, snacks, and more!
- Youth participants will be entered in to win a scooter and skateboard.

Free E-Bike Demos with Gazelle Bikes
Ride off Mother’s Day brunch with an invigorating spin on a Gazelle e-bike! We’re offering free demo rides from 12-4pm at our Westside showroom. Bring Mom, bring Dad, or just bring yourself!

E-Bike Safety Workshop – Go Santa Cruz
This workshop is offered both as an in-person lunch-and-learn at the Civic and virtually via Zoom.
E-bikes are here to stay, and with the right preparation, riding them can be safe and rewarding.

Bike Maintenance Class
Welcome to the wonderful world of bicycles! We will cover the three major systems that operate on a bicycle: wheels/tires, brakes, and shifting. We will also go over basic maintenance and safety checks, and take a tour of the shop to become acquainted with the space. A great class for beginners or newcomers to bike mechanics and to the Bike Church!

Bike Month Community Ride Watsonville
Ride meetup: Meet at Watsonville Cyclery at 25 E 5th St # 101, Watsonville, CA 95076 at 10am. Free coffee and snacks available. The ride will leave at 10:30am. Free quick bike safety checks will be offered by Ecology Action ride leaders and Jules from Watsonville Cyclery.
Ride end : We’ll make a loop and end back at Watsonville Cyclery around 12pm and will have a yummy free lunch ready for riders in the parking lot outside of the bike shop.

Bikes with Central Coast Birding Collective
To celebrate spring and Bike Month, the Central Coast Birding Collective and Modo powered by Ecology Action are excited to present Birds + Bikes, a bike-based birding excursion exploring local areas with stops along the way to observe the local birds in our area.
