Family Riding Workshop @ Ecology Action
Lunch-and-learn, Biking with kids, Family time, Beat traffic
How early can you get your child on a bike with you? What are the different ways you can carry your kids or ride with them? Is a cargo  bike better than a trailer? Can you really manage the school, work, store and extracurricular point-to-point by bike?
In this workshop, Ecology Action staff will guide you through the many options for family biking. Topics include: gear, family testimonials and riding through developmental stages, as well as recommendations for how to make riding with kids fun, safe and convenient.

Book a time with us, and we’ll provide minor bike tune-ups and repairs to get you rolling into winter! From hauling kids to having time to take the scenic route to arriving at work sweat-free, this workshop will explore e-bike options for a diversity of lifestyles and budgets. Topics include how to pick the right e-bike, different e-bike technologies, cost/ rebates/financing, environmental benefits and how e-bikes can replace car trips. This workshop is offered as an in-person Lunch and Learn at the Civic and as a virtual workshop via Zoom.
