Modo: Let’s Transform Transportation Together
Transportation is one of our region’s top greenhouse gas emitters, but we can change that. Modo, powered by Ecology Action, offers programs that help youth and adults to get from place to place safely and with fewer carbon emissions. Through education, planning, and advocacy, we develop inclusive infrastructure, create safer streets, cut emissions, and build resilient, connected communities for the future.
Students and their families have been taught bicycle and pedestrian safety skills.
Climate Justice Collaborative
Climate Justice Collaborative: Advancing Equitable Solutions
We are stronger together. Through the Climate Justice Collaborative, we partner with regional community organizations to support frontline groups in creating equitable climate proposals, projects and policies. By fostering collaboration and empowering those most impacted by climate change, we advance inclusive and effective climate action. Together, we can build resilient, climate-safe communities where everyone thrives.
Organizations participate in the Climate Justice Collaborative across the Monterey bay region.
Resilient Central Coast: Scalable climate solutions
The urgency of climate change demands scalable solutions. Our Resilient Central Coast initiative provides individuals and communities with the resources to implement sustainable actions that create ripples of positive impact. By offering tools, incentives, and fostering connections, we empower individuals to take action today for lasting solutions.
GHG-reducing actions have been taken through our Resilient Central Coast platform.
