Kyle Maxwell
Creative Director
Kyle Maxwell brings 20 years of creative development experience to Ecology Action. Hailing originally from San Jose, Kyle studied graphic design at San Jose State University, then dove headfirst into the agency world, building brands for start-ups and Fortune 500 tech companies in Silicon Valley. A deep passion for cycling and snowsports eventually led Kyle build a design company and pursue working with outdoor sports brands, creating campaigns and marketing collateral that better aligned with his own love for adventure and simplified living. In 2014, Kyle consulted with Ecology Action’s marketing team to create a new identity for the organization which led to four years of ongoing work and then ultimately a full-time position leading creative direction on all aspects of program marketing at EA. A recent transplant from “over the hill”, Kyle lives with his family in Scotts Valley and can be frequently seen on two wheels carving turns on backroads and shredding Santa Cruz’s finest trails.
